RICARDO GUERRA, JR., MD, FACC
Dr. Guerra is a native of California and a graduate of Harvard University. He subsequently received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. His internship and residency were served at UCSF, followed by Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Stanford University and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He then took a faculty position at the University of Iowa where he was an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and an active interventional cardiologist for four years. Subsequently, he joined the Lovelace Cardiology group in Albuquerque, NM and was also on the clinical faculty of the University of New Mexico.

Dr. Guerra is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

The teaching skills of Dr. Guerra were recognized and honored with the Cardiology Fellows Teaching Award at the University of Iowa. He enjoys photography, scuba diving and building and flying experimcntal aircraft.
