JOHN L TAN, MD, PhD
Dr. Tan is a graduate of Northwestern University. He subsequently received his medical and PhD degrees at Stanford University. His internship and residency were served at the Brigham and Womens Hospital and Harvard University, followed by Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship at Stanford University. He served on the faculty at Stanford University before joining North Texas Heart Center. Dr. Tan is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.

Dr. Tan has been named to Best Doctors in America, Top Doctors, and the Best Doctors in Dallas for the last two years. His teaching skills have been recognized and honored with Stanford and Presbyterian Dallas Hospital Resident Teaching Awards. He enjoys travel and raising and showing quarterhorses.
