View from outboard of canard closeout. In order to make an extremely close fit, the canard closeout is molded to fit the cut exactly. After curing, the duct tape is removed leaving the edges virtually exactly fitted to one another. Molding closeout fit. A circular notch will be cut in the now square cutout to allow passage of the torque tube. View of the leading edge being fitted and edges molded to match each other.
