Instrument panel lit up like a Christmas tree! Just in time for the season! Detail of panel. Photos to follow are after first flight. 12/15/01 and on. Vance's sight gauges calibrated in 5 gallon increments with narrow line tape across the clear plastic. Aft end of the cooling plenum leaked air and potentially decreases amount of cooling possible by the air flow from NACA scoops on roof. A small fiberglass part is fashioned and riveted in place to seal off this space.

Halogen lights placed in canard canted about 10 degrees downward which should give the appropriate lighting on runway ahead at landing attitude. Canard light on! OAT probe mounted in cabin fresh air intake NACA located on copilot side of fuselage. The static port on this side is seen just aft of the inlet. The OAT probe is part of the Rocky Mountain system and provides data to the MicroEncoder to calculate TAS and density altitude.
