Fuselage top being prepped. Windows installed. Note carbon reinforcement in roof. This comes installed standard with the kit. This was upgraded as seen in a later photo. Another view of fuselage top being prepped for mating with lower half. Note factory installed patch of carbon reinforcement which is upgraded in next photo and dividing line at bottom of photo to what will be upper half of cowling. Entire roof over the forward section of the cabin is reinforced with carbon. Note that the carbon now extends well beyond the door hinge attachment points (see previous photos). This stengthens the roof and prevents distortions of the fuselage when doors opened. This upgrade complements carbon reinforcing beams in roof to be added later. Upper fuselage mated with lower after canard is set into correct position. Door holes cut out leaving a generous margin inside factory marked lines. Upper section of cowl is set up for making flange followed by its removal.
